What do I bring?
Bring along any images you might want to work from, although I will provide ideas and images to inspire you.
Wear suitable clothing- It can get messy. Please bring an apron or old shirt.
A range of workshops can be organised for your group. As well as the one day plate course, half day or two days workshops can be booked, and not just for plates. Send an enquiry to find out more about what's available.
Have you looked at hand crafted ceramics and thought how lovely it would be to be able to make your own? Now you can do just that with a one day course at my home and studio in Eastbourne.
At the moment I am offering four courses:
1. Slip and Sgraffito decorated platter- just like the ones I make and sell.
2. Under the sea decorated platter- lots of fun adding 3D details to a platter.
3. Expressive Slab Pot- make beautiful wrap around slab pot and decorate it with slips and oxides.
4. Expressive Coil Pot- relax into making a coil pot with this traditional hand-building technique. Embellish with slips, textures and varied decorative techniques.
Workshops run from 10.30am to 3pm

Simple vegetarian lunch and refreshments provided. Easy parking.
Included in the price is firing of your finished work, application of the shiny glaze and postage to your address when the platter is complete. This should take about three weeks. Enquire for dates.
